Approach

At Archrival, CJ Welch directed the project over nine months, leading a talented team to craft a three-day spectacle that embraced the uniqueness of Portland and the ethos of Adidas. The event was designed to captivate and inspire 105 participants from across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. The approach included the conceptualization, planning, and execution of an immersive experience that showcased Adidas' latest product, the exclusive Anthony Edwards AE 1 shoe, available at Footlocker and Champs stores.

Project Overview

CJ Welch, Co-Founder and Executive Producer at RareForm, led the organization of the Adidas BTS x PDX Event during his tenure at Archrival. This three-day experience engaged Footlocker sales associates, driving increased brand visibility and fostering brand loyalty and advocacy.

Objectives

To drive sales during the 2023 Back-To-School season and promote the Anthony Edwards AE 1 shoe, Adidas engaged Footlocker sales associates through an exciting sales contest. The pinnacle reward was an all-inclusive three-day experience at Adidas HQ in Portland, OR – the Adidas BTS x PDX Event.
